Shooting a handgun with one hand is an important skill for any shooter. One Hand Shooting is a skill building clinic that focuses on teaching and building the skills of shooting with either your dominant hand or non-dominant hand.
We will cover the following learning points:
- How we change stance when shooting one handed
- Dominant and non-Dominant hand grip
- How to safely transfer a loaded handgun from one hand to another
- Body mechanics that support one hand shooting
Required equipment:
- Quality full size or compact handgun with 3 magazines. Bring the handgun you feel you have the best performance with
- Quality holster- no Serpa, no Urban Carry, no Clip Draw, no trigger guard, or barrel plug holsters
- 150 rounds of quality Full Metal Jacket ammunition for your handgun
- Hearing and wrap around vision protection. Electronic hearing protection is preferred, loaners are available
- Notebook and writing utensil
