Pistol Caliber Carbine Standards

This is an open range session where we will run drills with Pistol Caliber Carbines, such as AR9 or Ruger PC Carbine, allowing you to practice skills live fire that you normally couldn’t on a public range. Though this is not a formal class, coaching will occur where necessary as it pertains to each drill. Previous formal training is required as this is not meant for first time shooters. You will need to be comfortable with gun safety, operation of your gun, and running from a sling.  If you do not have experience running from a sling, please take the Shore Galleries Intro to Rifle Class or a similar Intro to Rifle Class.

Students will need:

• 150 rounds of ammo at minimum
• 3 mags
• A two point sling
• Range appropriate safety gear including eye and ear protection
• Range/ weather appropriate clothing.
